Collect Art

Through collecting art you can own the memories and experiences of a place. You can collect original work through me or one of my galleries in the bay area, or commission a custom artwork.

Originals:

See only original work available for sale here.

Original Paintings are my personal projects. They come in series and opportunities to try new compositions and techniques. While every work has personal significance to me, what’s more interesting is how others react to the art. For example, I created a large abstract painting based on rooftops and looking out over a rising city. What I think about when I see it is ambition and possibility. However, the collector that owns the work now sees something completely different. She sees the shanty towns in Manila and around the Philippines. She sees the progress here family has made and feels hope.

To learn more about original works, please contact me or reach out to one of the galleries below. Artwork tends to be between $1200 and $3200.

Commissions:

Commissioning a unique artwork is a great way to create something personal that represents your experience and values. Collectors have commissioned paintings to capture the gratitude they feel crossing the Golden Gate Bridge in the early morning or to remind them of their history through the places they call home.

For corporate art commissions please click here.

The process typically takes a month, but that can vary based on schedule and size of work. We start with a consultation to discuss your goals and ideas for the work. I’ll then create drawings to give you an idea of the direction of the piece. If you like and want to move forward, 50% of the price is due. I’ll then create the painting in the next few weeks and the remaining 50% is due on delivery.

Because I don’t accept creative direction mid-process, collectors can get a full refund upon seeing the final the artwork.

Commissions range from $1200 to $4000.
